Apple Basics - Printing

Printing from your new Mac is fully integrated with our UniFLOW system. When you print, your document is held securely in the cloud until you walk up to a printer to release it.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

• Check your Connection
  Ensure you are connected a wireless network (KNYCRT-X if at a KIPP NYC location)

• Open the Print Menu
  Open the document or webpage you wish to print and press Command (⌘) + P

• Select the Printer:
  In the print dialogue box, click the "Printer" drop-down menu and select KIPP_NYC_SecurePrint

  • Note: If you do not see this option, please reach out to the techsupport@kippnyc.org so we can push the UniFLOW queue to your device

• Adjust Settings
  Check your preferences (like double-sided or black & white vs. color)

• Send to Queue
  Click Print. If prompted for credentials, enter your KIPP NYC's Google email and password

• Release Your Document
  Walk up to any UniFLOW-enabled printer in the building, swipe your ID badge (or enter your PIN), and select your document from the screen to print it
